Single Touch Payroll, what the ATO expects and what to do.

Shane Cremin of Hunter Partners Accountants is hosting this seminar, he will cover the Single Touch Payroll requirements that are currently being implimented by the Australian Tax Office (ATO). The ATO is making the use of this reporting system mandatory for almost all employers in the near future. This seminar provides you with the opportunity to find out about the changes and how the changes will impact upon your business, and if and when you need to make changes to your payroll systems.

The Payroll system is being forced upon business so that the ATO can monitor all payroll activity by businesses in real time. They will be able to determing if and when breaches occur with Superannuation Guarantee payments arising from incorrect or amended pay runs. Employers will need to be more vigilant in their preparatiom of the businesses payroll or they may face the prospect of preparing Super Guarantee Returns on a more frequent basis to correct incorrect pay runs.

Shane will run through the ATO requirements and explore which businesses will be required to change, he will also discuss the transition period where some small employers will be given more time to impliment the changes and how they will be required to report before they impliment the Single Touch Payroll system in their businesses.
